My name is Abi and I am a trainee psychotherapist. I decided to start Move & Meditate after seeing the amazing benefits meditation has had for both my clients and myself, particularly during lockdown. For whatever reason you have chosen to join my sessions, whether it is stress, lack of sleep, anxiety or any feeling of disconnect, I truly hope you find what you are looking for here.
Why Move & Meditate?
I believe movement and meditation go hand in hand. When we think of meditation as purely a mental activity, we run the risk of switching off from our bodies, a valuable source of information about ourselves. When we connect our bodies and our minds (some people call this embodiment) we become one with ourselves and can come to a much deeper understanding of our inner states. Move & Meditate incorporates gentle stretching with meditation to give you the greatest benefits of both body and mind.
