With over 30 years of dance teaching experience; Tailfeatherdance provides young adult dancers with additional learning needs a creative platform to explore dance and develop dance, movement and performance skills in different genres.

Since 2017, Tailfeatherdance has provided opportunities for its dancers to study Choreography, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Street Dance, Ballroom and Latin, and Dance Fitness.

MARIETTE - Volunteer Dance Support
Mother of three, the youngest dances with Tailfeatherdance. I work as a yoga teacher and educational support assistant in a SEN secondary school. I have a background as a contemporary dancer/teacher and occupational therapist. Assisting at Tailfeather brings it all together and it’s inspiring watching the creativity and talent of the young dancers

Phoenix Stage and Ballet School in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre, National and Street Dance and completed her first teaching associate examination in tap at the age of 17.
